Hippo's morning starts off good
until friends say, "You Should! You should!
You should prance! You should sing!
Wear this hat! Stretch your wing!"
Though Hippo wants to be a friend,
he wonders when the “shoulds” will end.
Hippo and friends will soon find out
that being yourself is what life's about.

Ginny, Gin, Aunt Gin, Gin-Tin-Tin, Ginny-Gin-Gin, Ginneriffic, Ginny May, Ginnifred, Gin Bug, and Ginnicus are a few of the names she answers to.

Before Harry Potter, people struggled to say her name. "Jenny? Genie? Gee-yunny?" Now she says, "Ginny, like Ginny Weasley." Problem solved. THANK YOU, J.K. Rowling.

Ginny grew up with mountains to climb, rivers to swim, one grocery store, no traffic lights, and clear stars at night. Good ol' Morgan, UT.

Ginny has been drawing since she could hold a pencil.

Kid-Ginny most often drew dogs, Ninja Turtles, Simba, people, and animals she found in The National Geographic.

Ginny's favorite foods are dark chocolate, popcorn, and any perfectly ripe plump sweet delicious colorful juicy fruit.

Ginny graduated from Utah Valley University with an emphasis in Illustration.

During Sculpture class, Ginny shot her hand with a nail gun, burned a hole through her shoe from welding, and lost her dad's favorite shovel. Sculpture is not for Ginny.

Ginny experienced a mental break-down during the final years of college, opening the door to an incredible voyage across jagged waves, and rich life lessons. Now she wants to help others through their own tumults and slippery slopes with laughable and empowering children's books.

Sometimes when Ginny is asleep, she dreams she can fly, Peter Pan style. One day, she will.

Put Ginny on a tall tree swing, and she'll be happier than a mouse eating ten pounds of cheese.
